In short: A pod rarely runs out if you don't fill it in full brims, then completely close the filling opening, wipe the outside dry and give a new pod time for action – the manufacturer recommends LUVX Velora for about 5 minutes after the first filling. Then pull evenly instead of very strong and store the pod upright and not in the heat.
Before filling: you need this
- a refillable pod, for example the LUVX Velora Pod (10 ml)
- a suitable liquid – for pod systems like the Velora nicotine salt liquids are like LIQ IT thought
- a paper towel for wiping
Note: Not every pod is intended for refilling. Pre-filled pods like the LUVA pods are delivered fully filled and replaced after emptying. The following tips apply to refillable pods.
Step 1: Remove pod from the device
Fill the pod good outside the device. So you see the level and no liquid gets to the contacts of the battery.
Step 2: Correct level
Fill the liquid slowly into the filling opening – at the Velora side (side-filling). Let some air in the tank and fill not to the edge. A brimful pod can be closed worse, and excess liquid quickly lands on the outside of the pod. If there is a marker, orient yourself to it.
Step 3: Seal and wipe
Then close the filling opening completely and press the closure evenly. Wipe the pod outside and dry on the contacts with a cloth before using it. Small liquid residues outside are often confused with leaks.
Step 4: Maintain exposure time
The cotton wool in the coil must be completely soaked with liquid before taking the first train. For the LUVX Velora the manufacturer recommends the pod after the first filling about 5 minutes to leave it alone. Anyone who pulls immediately risks a dry, burnt-tasting train – and shortens the lifespan of the coil.
Step 5: Pull evenly instead of sucking vigorously
Pull quietly and evenly. Very strong moves can pull liquid towards the mouthpiece, which makes itself noticeable as gurgling. At the Velora you control the tensile resistance additionally over the three-stage airflow: closed, medium or fully open. Step 6: Store correctly
- Pod and device as possible upright transport and store.
- Do not leave in heavy heat, for example in the car in the sun.

The right liquid for your pod
Nicotine salt liquids is intended for pod systems with mesh coil such as the Velora.
